Who We Are and our Mission:
Aubrey's Warriors Foundation is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose primary goal is to assist families with the resources necessary to provide emergency funding by fundraising, transportation, medical treatment, therapies, and rehabilitative equipment in order to improve the quality of life for their special-needs children nationwide.
Aubrey is an 8 year old little girl with a very complex medical history. As her mother, there have been many times I have had to deal with hardship and being turned away. Many times I have had to fight and advocate for Aubrey to get what she needed. Many times as a family we went without due to my staying home to care for Aubrey. I established Aubrey's Warriors Foundation in 2015 in hopes I could assist other families fighting these same battles.
Families with special-needs children face traumatic medical expenses whether due to birth defect or catastrophic illness or accident. They often see themselves having to choose which need they can meet due to financial restrictions.
There are times we will not be able to provide the resources you are seeking. In that case we will try to work with you to locate those resources else where. We also have a resource page with a lot of great information.
Aubrey's Warriors Foundation is funded solely by events and donations from corporations and individuals. All work within the Foundation is done strictly on a voluntary basis.
We work on a first come, first serve basis by application. Sometimes there are emergencies and we understand that. We will try to address those requests immediately if able. Once your application for assistance is received, it is then reviewed by our board of Directors.
Another goal of ours is Community outreach. We believe in strengthening communities with various programs throughout the year. Starting right here at home in Walton county, GA. See our current causes section for all our current fundraisers and programs.

Meet Julia the Director:
Hello,
My name is Julia Workman. I am a 40 year old mother to some amazing kiddos.
When I was 11 years old, I started volunteering in nursing homes and went on to join the healthcare field in 1998 fulltime. Healthcare has always been my passion. My family and I are members of FBC where I also am a preschool/sunday school teacher as well. I have always had a heart for helping and love giving to others. My life’s goal is to put God first and let everything else fall into place. I love teaching my children to be selfless and to love to give without expecting anything in return. I founded Aubrey’s Warriors Foundation as a way to serve God by serving our community and our children.
Aubrey my 8 year-old daughter has a very complex medical history including Celiac Disease. I have a healthcare and management background which helps in caring for my special-needs child. When I had to quit working outside the home temporarily in 2012 and came home to care for my Aubrey, my world changed. It became a world full of unknowns and a roller coaster ride of emotions. I know how it feels to be scared of the phone ringing, to not know how we would make it to our next specialty appointment without gas money, or how I would eat during an emergency hospital admission. I have experienced the heartbreak over not being able to keep her siblings in sports because we just couldn’t afford it anymore or to even be able to get them school clothing. My heart breaks every time I have had to tell my children no and dealt with their disappointment and broken hearts. I want to give other families hope. I want them to know that there are people in this world that care, that know exactly what they are going through and will do what they can to help others. Our Foundation is set up to do just that.
Much Love,
Julia
